Karate America Youth Academy

During the last year our school saw the creation of a powerful new schedule that delivered more training opportunities for more students.

2010 will be a year where we will further focus on bringing our Mixed Training System to our specific target group, youth, with the implementation of the Karate America Youth Academy (KAYA).

All students will learn our academic study, visualization, and health systems right along with our self defense, target striking, physical conditioning, and partner flow systems work that we rolled out in 2009.  This will be our focus moving forward and will undoubtedly be the most beneficial and highest rated application Karate America has ever completed.

As with all classes, Master Koster will guide this program down an ever evolving path towards martial arts excellence.  That is defined as creating an environment where the students "consistently train at their highest level, learning real martial skills for the betterment of themselves and their families."

FOCUS AREAS OF LEARNING:
  • Bully Proof System
  • Time Management System
  • Control the Environment
  • Manners and Etiquette
  • Forgiveness and Reconciliation
  • Anger/Anxiety Management (verbal, isometric, kinesthetic, description, or visual)
  • Listening and Focus
  • Respect – Random Acts of Kindness
